This review is from: Chummie Premium Bedwetting (Enuresis) Alarm Treatment System for Boys TC300B, Blue (Health and Beauty)
In our case, it has taken our son (who has special needs) a long time to adapt which has included alot of waking up at night. However, the alarm goes off if even one little drop is detected. It has saved alot of laundry, and he's even happier - though he was frustrated with being woken at first.
A couple of tips:
1. We have him wear two pair of briefs to help keep the thing in place. (This was a tip in the instructions and has worked well.) We also have him wear two light t-shirts to bed. This was his idea, because he likes to run the cord between the shirts. We also found it helpful to sort of use the outer shirt to cover the alarm to keep him from pulling it off or unplugging it in the night.
2. We ran out of the little Chummie tape (used to tape to the underwear). We just used some clear packing tape - one of those big rolls the size of duct tape. Much cheaper than ordering another box, and it works fine.
***Update*** After 5 months, we see progress, and almost success, but the thing no longer recognizes when moisture is present, and apparently, I can't return it, because we're past the window. I liked the product and gave it 5 stars before. Now...2 stars.
