The Chummie worked well for a few days, but got damp during one night of use and promptly stopped working.

Getting customer support to help was a long process. After confirming multiple times that the alarm wasn't working, they continued to insist that I try basic steps in the instructions, like making sure the sensor wasn't connected while trying to adjust alarm settings.

After finally accepting that it was a malfunction, and not user error, I had to pay for shipping to have the product looked at by their team. They informed me that it had been damaged by liquid and wasn't covered under warranty.

So, a painful customer service process, and a device that apparently has no tolerance against dampness—ironic, given that it's designed to be used to detect moisture—lead me to recommend against purchasing this product. Maybe if it wasn't so expensive I'd feel different, but $100 is not small purchase in my book.
