Good idea, bad batch or something. We are 0 for 2 Chummies. The first one just scream-beeped constantly until the batteries were removed. Received a replacement Chummie and the second one did the same thing starting on the third night. In the middle of the night. Ugh. My husband is a robotics engineer so definitely defective products, not end user error. Bummer too since we need something like this for our big kid who sleeps through everything. Off to try a different solution...

Made the problem worse.

I figured when I purchased this the system would be pretty simple to use. Unlike other people, my experience was very brief. On the first night, the system sort of worked. However, apparently our 5 year old can sleep through a military shelling, as even on maximum volume and vibration, this did not wake him. But hey, it worked! So I figured we needed a few more nights of hopefully quieter evenings so it would wake him. However, the sensor started going off repeatedly almost every five minutes. After 4 pairs of underwear over 2 nights I figured I had to return this, as it was making something already embarassing and humiliating even more embarassing and humiliating, as he wasn't wet or even asleep.

Faulty piece

I bought chummie for my 7 year old sometime last year. Because of my sheer bad luck I got the faulty sensors. Not knowing that the sensors were defective, I used them for several weeks. I spent so many sleepless nights initially because of the faulty sensors. My son used to cry in the night when chummie woke him up even when he was not wet. Every night I had to battle with him to make him use chummie. He started hating me and chummie. It was so difficult for my son and me to get up in the morning to get back to school/work. So we discontinued to use it.
But in January I decided to use it again and called up customer service. They said I cannot get a free sensor as it was out of warranty period.
I had to buy a new sensor. I bought only one sensor as I could not afford to buy 2. Which was working fine. After using it for about 6 months I started seeing some improvement in my 7 year old bed wetting habits. But now the cummie is not working any more. It doesn't beep when the sensor is wet. I am not sure if the problem is with the cummie or the sensor. I also tried changing the batteries. I left a message to the customer service but did not get any response.
I cannot afford to spend 100 more dollars again. Now I am back to square one. My son started wetting the bed again. I really feel like crying out loud. I spent so much time and energy to train my son use the chummie. I spent so many sleepless nights changing my sons pants every time the chummie beeped. I slept beside my sons bed from the past 6 months. All the efforts are gone in vain. I feel so frustrated.

30 days and it it's glitching. Unable to use ...

Tonight is the first night with the Chummie and my daughter was relocating the sound box from her shoulder and the wire ripped off. I saw it rip apart with very little effort from her. I used electrical tape and put the wires back together. Praying this works.

Tape doesnt work.

I am having trouble with the tape. I have even cut a hole in my sons underwear to feed the cord through and tape the sensor on the inside pocket of the underwear. It keeps falling out. I even pinned the pocket hole closed but the sensor flipped over. I am feeling frustrated. Please help.
